Ir really does not get sillier than vB's FAQ.

How unhealthy is that? At the very least they should allow it in the forum for licensed users.

How silly is to open a support ticket to complain about company policy?

And, since now you only get 30 days worth of support, ¡¡ you only get 30 days to complain !!

30 days worth of support sucks, by the way. They say most people do not need it , which is probably true, but it is good to know it's there. If hardly anybody uses it then it uses few resources and there is no need to cut services. The could be an instance where we could really need it.

I think them going to 30 days of support tickets is absurd since as you say, that's the only way to complain about unfairness and hypocrisy in forum management.
